There’s nothing like a cringey love song and a few encouraging words from Osher Gunsberg to remind you that love is always on the horizon.

At least, that’s what the brand new trailer featuring Ali Oetjen for The Bachelorette Australia is implying – and corniness aside, we’re fizzing with excitement.

The first look trailer is very upbeat, very pink and very Bachelorette – it starts with Ali sitting on the ground looking wistfully into the distance. We feel you, girl.

Ali Oetjen is ready for love… again.

Then, a wild Osher appears, where he delivers an appropriately Osher-esque line: “You’ve been quite unlucky in love haven’t you Ali? Well, don’t worry, I’m here to help you find your Mr Right.”

Can we just crown Osher as King and be done with it?

Too right he does. Next minute, we’ve got 10+ men in suits surrounding the new Bachelorette.

“Who, me? What a surprise!”

Ali regains her composure impressively fast despite a multitude of suitors appearing out of thin air before her.

She’s next seen in a strapless red ball gown, and like clockwork, she breaks out into song. Of course it’s ‘You Can’t Hurry Love’ – predictable, yet perfect.

Ali transforms from hopeless romantic to sultry suitress alarmingly fast.

As she prances around the stage singing, her suitors hold giant love hearts with self-describing words for almost every Bachelorette contestant we’ve seen before. There’s a ‘Mr Ego’, a ‘Mr Vain’, a ‘Mr Faithful’… the list goes on.

Ali ain’t got time for Mr Ego’s games.

As the song wraps up, Osher comes out with another pearl of wisdom: “I’m going to help you weed out the Mr Wrongs so that you can find your Mr Right.”

The finale is every bit as corny as we’d hoped.

What a journey.

This season will be Ali’s third stint on an Aussie dating show. The 32-year-old appeared on the very first season of The Bachelor where she unsuccessfully vied for Tim Robards heart.

She also appeared on Bachelor in Paradise this year, but again, was unlucky in love.

They do say third time’s a charm – here’s hoping. Bring on October!
