Even before Elly Miles gave her final, and most important, rose to Frazer Neate in The Bachelorette finale, there were countless rumours the winning couple had already split.
The first came via a leaked Instagram message showing the 28-year-old concreter from Queensland messaging another woman.
The photograph in question, which was originally uncovered by The Wash, was taken by the woman’s friend, named Libby, and shared on Instagram, captioning: “When ya friend talks to the guy on Bachelorette”.
It shows the woman’s phone and a series of messages with an account that appeared to be Frazer Neate’s with the official blue tick and same handle name.
Frazer was Elly’s last man standing.
(Channel Ten)Following the whirlwind finale Frazer was happy to squash the rumour with a simple explanation.
“I messaged a mate of mine saying, ‘go Cats,’ before the AFL grand final and she said, ‘go Tiges.’ So yeah, that’s all,” Frazer told Who.
The second split rumour to hit the couple came via gossip podcast So Dramatic! whereby an anonymous source revealed Frazer had been telling close friends he and Elly had called it quits.
“‘My boyfriend is on Frazer’s AFL team and he said that Frazer told the boys him and Elly had already broken up,” the source said before adding: “They’ve stayed mates”.
“‘I know a few people that Frazer’s hooked up with after filming wrapped.”
The couple have been sharing happy snaps since the finale aired.

Constantly fielding questions from fans online, Elly recently took to Instagram in a Q&A with fellow Bachelorette and big sister, Becky, to put rumours to bed.
Elly, who currently lives in Newcastle, revealed in response to a fan’s question: “We are still together and I am going to move to Queensland in January, that’s the plan.”
However her fellow Bachelorette wasn’t as happy about the big move.
“Exciting for you, not so exciting for me cause I’m going to stay in Newcastle,” Becky mused.
