It seems like just yesterday that we were watching Sophie Monk date her way through more than 20 men on The Bachelorette Australia — but it was actually months ago.
ICYMI, Sophie and her chosen man, Stu Laundy, have already broken up after six months together. Sophie announced the news in a heartbreaking statement posted to Instagram on January 26, saying, “I went into this experience looking to settle down and start a family. I gave it the best shot I could and my intentions were everything I said I was looking for, but unfortunately it just didn’t work out.” She didn’t give a reason for the breakup, but mentioned that she and Stu “are just very different people.”
However, the two seem to be on good terms, even doing a semi-awkward radio interview about their split.

The two have continued their romance and were papped on a romantic beach date in Melbourne this year, but reports also say Keira is nervous that Jarrod might dump her for Sophie now that Sophie is single again… Watch this space.

Everyone’s favourite magician, Apollo, was announced as one of the first six contestants on Bachelor in Paradise, but there haven’t been updates as to whether he’s hooked up with anyone or not (unlike, for example, Jarrod and Keira, and Jake Ellis and Megan Marx). So we’re secretly keeping our fingers crossed that he’s still single.

James shared with Now To Love about how their meeting was “random and unexpected,” saying, “I was back at work and ironing my shirts in the morning with my headphones in and noticed her walk past really quickly. I did a double take and didn’t get a proper look but was wondering who the mystery girl was I’d never seen before.” James and Alice, a consultant, ended up chatting when she saw him at Manly Beach and approached him. “We started chatting and really hit it off.” He added, “They say things happen and you meet that special someone when you’re least expecting it and that’s definitely been the case here!”
