It’s not the first time a Bachelorette has entered the The Bachelor mansion and been reacquainted with a former love interest – ahem, Laura Byrne and Matty J – but unlike last year’s couple, Cassandra Wood, 23, and new Bachie Nick Cummins, 30, could be headed for disaster.

Yep, while Cass is hellbent on getting her man back after their fling ended due to “timing issues”, some of her fellow Bachelorettes reckon she’s wasting her time in the mansion!

The blonde from Sydney is obviously smitten by the Badgie.

“If it were meant to happen on the outside, it would have,” Dasha tells NW.

“Maybe it’s just not meant to be, because they would have formed that connection or relationship when they had the chance. I’m not worried.”

Dasha thinks if Nick and Cass couldn’t make it work on the outside, their relationship is better left alone.

In fact, mum-of-one Dasha isn’t even entirely sure that Cass is telling the whole truth about her history with Nick.

“When she was asked if something romantic happened, she said Nick had to say – and obviously now we know what Nick has to say!” she argues.

“Their stories are really different, but I guess Nick is holding something back as well. I just feel like there’s more to that, but I don’t know.”

Meanwhile, Sophie – who was accused of having a secret boyfriend outside the mansion – reckons Cass is playing coy to protect her spot in the house.

“I don’t think she wanted to give out too much information to make anyone feel uncomfortable – including herself,” Sophie

says.

Cass looked devastated when Romy revealed she’d kissed Nick.

Cass, who hails from Sydney’s Northern Beaches tells NW that she and Nick, who lives in nearby Manly, have not only met before, but crossed paths many times.

“We have some of the same friends, go to the same gym – it’s crazy how many times we’ve crossed paths and met each other! Through all of that I’ve actually got to know him and really liked him and thought he was a good guy.”

Some fans are calling Cass a ‘stage-five clinger’.

Let the drama begin! The Bachelor airs 7.30pm Wednesdays and Thursdays on Ten.
