Rachael Arahill was sent packing from the mansion in dramatic scenes during last night’s episode of The Bachelor Australia.

The blonde beauty was asked to leave when Matt Agnew found out she had a ‘Plan B’ to woo a crew member.

After being alerted to Rachael’s crush by bachelorette Mary Viturino, Matt was further shocked when a producer revealed that she had slipped her phone number to a crew member. But, according to Rachael, she never gave her number to anyone.

Not only that, she also says she intended to leave the mansion because it wasn’t fair to the other women.

TV WEEK caught up with Rachael to find out all about her dramatic exit and her blossoming romance with co-star Vakoo Kauapirura. Scroll through to read the chat!

TV WEEK: What a way to go! Have you seen all the Twitter reactions to your exit last night? Seems to be a lot of support from fans…

Rachael: Yes, I tried to read a bit this morning! And I feel like the reaction was actually pretty good. Maybe I missed the ones that we’re bad, but there was a lot of positivity.

Rachael’s dramatic exit will go down in Bachie history!

Can you clear up for us how your exit all came out? From what we’ve seen on the show, you thought a crew member was attractive and gave him your number. On Instagram you’ve said you actually didn’t give him your number. Can you explain to us what we saw in the episode last night?

Yeah, so I didn’t actually give him my number. I was up in the makeup room all night pretty much, but when I got down – I’d already announced I was going to leave – when I got down and was like ‘I want to talk to Matt and tell him I want to leave’ the producer was like yeah, after you do this interview, which is where you saw him come up to me. I was thinking the interview was going for quite some time, ’cause usually they go for like five minutes or whatever and it went on and on, and they kept asking the same question in different ways. Anyway, then pretty much Matt came and interrupted and I didn’t really know what was going on. This lady was yelling at me like ‘you gave someone your number that’s not a joke blah blah blah’ and I’m like, ‘what do you mean?’ I had no idea what she was talking about. I was never going to give him my number that part was a joke, but obviously someone else has done that on my behalf. He wasn’t even at work that day so someone has given somebody else the number. Yeah I had a crush, it was pretty much just taken out of context.

Did you feel guilty about staying on the show if you didn’t have feelings for Matt?

No not at all. This is what they cut me off from saying last night. When I was saying ‘I don’t feel guilty’ they cut out ‘because I am going.’ Like, I had announced I was going because I could see all these girls were forming connections with Matt and I didn’t have these feelings for him, so by me staying that would be taking a rose from someone else that did like him. I was just doing the right thing by everybody by leaving and it got twisted the wrong way.

Rachael says things “got twisted” during her final episode.

How do you feel about Matt?

I haven’t spoken to Matt, but I have no bad blood with him… I don’t think. I think he kind of understood that I had no idea what was going on at the time. But yeah, if I saw him I’d say hi and have a chat with him.

Fans were losing it on Twitter over your parting line – “you f—— dogs” – was that aimed at Matt?

No! That was at the producer.

Do you have any resentment towards Mary for telling Matt about your crush?

Like… I find it annoying because she had a Plan B as well. We would joke about her Plan B every night before bed, so I find that a bit hypocritical but at the same time I really couldn’t care less.

Do you regret going on the show?

No I couldn’t really care less, I’m not going to live my life with regret… But I probably wouldn’t tell my friends to go on the show.

Mary tells Matt about the crush.

On a more positive note, you’ve been linked to your co-star Vakoo. Are you two a couple?

I wouldn’t say we’re a couple, we’re just keeping things casual and dipping our feet in the water really.

How did you go from friendship to romance?

It was kind of just one night when we were drinking at my house and one thing led to another! That’s pretty much all we have to report on, we’re just seeing where things take us.

Vakoo and Rachael aren’t putting pressure on their romance.

The Bachelor Australia airs Wednesday and Thursday, 7:30pm on 10.
