Who's ready to listen to Natasha Bedingfield's Unwritten on repeat?! The first trailer for The Hills reboot has landed and the iconic theme song is back, along with (almost) all of your favourite stars.
The original series, which aired from 2006 to 2010, followed the personal and professional lives of friends living in Los Angeles. Almost a decade later, the cast are set to return, showing off their new lives and - probably - feuds.
The Hills: New Beginnings will reunite fans with some of the show's main stars, including Heidi Montag, Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port, Stephanie Pratt, Jason Wahler, Brody Jenner, Spencer Pratt, Justin Bobby and Frankie Delgado.
Brody's wife Kaitlynn Carter, Frankie's wife Jennifer and Jason's wife Ashley will also be featured, along with Spencer and Heidi's son Gunner Stone.
For some reason, former The O.C. actress Mischa Barton is also joining the reboot, along with Brandon Thomas Lee, son of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.
Noticeably absent from the reboot are main cast members Lauren Conrad, Kristin Cavallari and Lo Bosworth, which is understandable as all three have gone on to forge wildly successful careers since the show ended.
Lauren is busy with her fashion label LC for Kohls, her fair trade online store The Little Market, her podcast Asking for a Friend, and just generally maintaining her MILLIONS of social media followers. Plus, she's busy with her one-year-old son Liam.
Meanwhile, Kristin has her own reality TV show, Very Cavallari, and her jewellery line Uncommon James, children's line Little James Clothing, and homes line Uncommon James Home. Plus, she's got three children with her husband Jay Cutler; six-year-old Camden, five-year-old Jaxon and three-year-old Saylor.
As for Lo, she's the founder of Love Wellness, a company that provides a "female-first voice alongside natural, OB/GYN-recommended personal care products."
Put simply: they're busy.
In the first trailer for the reboot (which you can watch at the top of the article), fans are given a glimpse of a few key storylines.
Notably, Audrina reunites with Justin Bobby, the man so great he needed two first names. Over a few glasses of champagne, the pair meet up as 'friends' after all this time.
"I don't even know where to start," says Audrina, who officially divorced from her husband Corey Bohan in 2018.
"With you and I?" Bobby replies, in classic Bobby form.
Meanwhile, Heidi and Spencer's marriage and parenthood is sure to take centre stage.
Their wedding was captured in the original series in 2008, and they later welcomed their first child in October 2017.
"Life has drastically changed…" Heidi narrates in the new trailer, while hiking up a hill with little Gunner on her back.
So, when can we expect to see the new season and be reunited with some of our favourite stars?
The Hills: New Beginnings premieres June 25, 12pm, 9pm, on MTV.
