Recalling the moment he met his wife Caitlyn five years ago, MasterChef Australia contestant Ben Borsht admits he knew he’d spend the rest of his life with her.
“I knew Caitlyn was the one for me from the moment we met,” Ben, 31, says. “It took four years of pursuing, but eventually she went on a date with me.”
It paid off. Two years later, while holidaying in Europe with Caitlyn, the Queensland builder proposed.
“It was in Paris,” Ben recalls. “It was one of the greatest days of my life.”
Ben has impressed judges on MasterChef Australia.
And last July, the couple sealed the deal, tying the knot in Brisbane in front of family and friends.
“I was excited and a little nervous at the same time,” Ben smiles. “Caitlyn and I had invited about 130 guests and the day was spectacular.”
