As one of the new grooms set to appear on Married At First Sight’s latest season, Mikey Pembroke is about to become a very familiar face for fans of the dating show.

(Image: Channel Nine)Turns out it’s not the 29-year-old’s first rodeo when it comes to appearing on the small screen.
In fact, the cheeky-but-charming groom has tried his luck in the past on game show Deal or No Deal (WATCH IN PLAYER ABOVE).
Resurfaced footage from the soon-to-be reality star’s Instagram shows Mikey greeting affable host Andrew O’Keefe with a warm hug before busting his best dance moves as he turned the stage into his personal dance floor.
However, it appears Mikey didn’t fare so well on the show, with the Sydney-based hottie describing his stint as a “fail”.
“Flashback Friday to deal or no deal #fail,” he captioned one post, which was uploaded in 2015 but appears to be from an episode in 2013.
On another he added: “After double value cases and a second chance … It was very upsetting 😞😞😞 oh well.”

Mikey is no stranger to taking off his shirt.

The aged care operations manager previously dated Instagram influencer Katie Williams, who was a contestant on the first season of Australian Ninja Warrior back in 2017.
It appears Katie and Mikey shared a passion for fitness, with the MAFS star seemingly not afraid to upload shirtless selfies on his own Instagram account.

(Image: Instagram)While details are murky on when exactly the pair called it quits, the last couple photo Katie posted was in April 2018, suggesting things have been over for a while.
Mikey is reported to have enjoyed the spoils of an affluent upbringing while still possessing a sold work ethic and level head.
He’s hoping to find someone to share his fortune with when Married At First Sight returns to screens on Monday February 3.
At least we know he’s got some dance skills ready to bust out at his wedding’s reception!
