Hot on the heels of Tracey Jewel splitting from boyfriend Sean Thomsen, NW has heard that the last couple standing from this year’s season of Married At First Sight, Troy Delmege and Carly Bowyer, are heading toward a break up too.
There must be something in the water…
After the show wrapped filming in March, Sydney-based Troy, 35, quit his job in IT and moved to Melbourne to be with Carly, but it hasn’t quite been the happy ending they were hoping for.
“Carly is going crazy having Troy around 24/7 and can’t see the relationship lasting much longer,” an insider exclusively reveals to NW.
“He’s been out of work for eight weeks now and just spends all day, every day, messaging her while she’s in the office.
She knows she’s all he has in Melbourne, but she’s starting to feel suffocated – Troy will literally call her up in the middle of the day when she’s in meetings just to say he’s done the cleaning.”
Yep, and it isn’t just Troy’s constant need for attention making marketing manager Carly, 32, feel overwhelmed now the MAFS bubble has burst and they’re back to reality.
“He’s always talking about having kids and getting married,” our insider adds. “Carly does love him but she’s realistic – they’ve only been dating for five months at the end of the day.”
