In news that’s making us squeal with happiness, former Married At First Sight contestant Sean Hollands is engaged to his girlfriend Roslyn Buerckneer.
And seeing as they met volunteering for Heeling Hooves, a charity helping people with needs through equine therapy, it seems appropriate that Sean popped the question at the Melbourne Cup.

Not only did the former MAFS groom capture the proposal on film, but he also shared a sweet trio of photos that summarised the day.
“Couldnt ask for a better day and how it all come together. Its a story in itself what the day means. There is so many people to thank you all know who you are. In keeping the secret and helping the day come together, [sic]” he captioned his social media post.
Earlier this year, Sean revealed toA Current Affair that he and Roslyn had spoken about becoming husband and wife, adding that, “I have told Roslyn I could marry her tomorrow.”
“There’s no need to be on reality TV to find a wife. I think I’ve found one here,” he added.

While Sean had a fairytale romance on the show with on-screen wife Susan Rawlings, they struggled to make long-distance work and parted ways in April 2017. But a few months later Sean shared a cryptic Instagram post hinting that he’s moved on with a mystery woman.
“Patience is a virtue. Good things come to those who wait. A lovely weekend away with a very special girl,” he captioned his first photo with who we now know to be Roslyn.
And it turns out the bride-to-be was a big fan of Sean’s when he was on the show.
“A lot of my girlfriends adored him on the show and told me I would be absolutely insane not to go on a date with him too,” she told A Current Affair.
Meanwhile, Susan gave birth to her beautiful baby boy Ashton in March this year and shared her story exclusively with Woman’s Day.
Sean only had kind words for his TV ex wife, saying, “I have heard through the grapevine that Susan is pregnant — she’s due very soon. I do wish her the best and I hope that she’s madly in love.”
