They may be this year’s Married At First Sight‘s strongest couple by a mile, but behind the scenes Charlene Perera has been struggling to see a future with operations manager Patrick Miller, 34, as his past comes back to haunt him.
Following their wedding in Patrick’s hometown of Melbourne, word quickly spread about the local lad’s nuptials, with many of his exes reaching out to brand manager Charlene, 33, warning her off her new hubby.
“A few girls have been messaging Charlene on Instagram and filling her head with doubt by saying he’s bad news and Pat will break her heart,” a well-placed insider tells NW exclusively.
“Charlene’s been very open with Patrick about this and they’ve been laughing at how bitter the messages are, but their comments are still in the back of her mind.”
