Matthew Bennett didn't find love on Married At First Sight, but it turns out he didn't need expert help to build a loving relationship.
Now, the 32-year-old has excitedly announced he is engaged to his girlfriend-of-two-years, Annabel Jameson.
The filmmaker proposed to his British partner on Halloween, and he took to his Instagram to break the exciting news days later.
Matt shared a slew of engagement photos, including Annabel's reaction to their relationship milestone.
He captioned the love-filled pictures with a note about how much their relationship means to him.
"She said "YES!" 🥰🥰🥰 It took me long enough to ask, but @belajameson, you are the best thing that ever happened to me, and I'm excited for our life together. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️," he wrote.
Matt chose to pop the question at the Mountainview Alpaca Farm, and the furry animals looked very intrigued by their excitement.
As expected, well wishes and congratulatory messages quickly filled up the post.
One fan wrote, "Oh beautiful congratulations 👏," and another shared, "What a beautiful moment and really beautiful pictures big man. So happy for you guys May your life together be filled with your hearts desires. Congratulations."
His former MAFS co-star Cam Merchant wrote, "This is amazing mate! So happy for you! Huge congratulations to you both. Wishing you guys all the continued happiness & laughs! Magic setting."
And Dino Hira commented, "Proud of you Brother and Congratulations to you Both! You deserve all the Love and Happiness."
The couple also shared a YouTube video on Matt's channel No Going Back, called I asked my girlfriend of 3 years to marry me...This is what she said.
To begin narrating his engagement journey, the former reality television star shared why he loves his fiancée and when he realised he wanted to marry her.
"I just want this proposal and this ring to be as special to her as she is to me because she is amazing, she is kind, she is fierce and funny and smart and gorgeous and beautiful, and she is my person. I knew from the moment I met her that I wanted to marry her," he shared.
The intimate footage of the moment they became betrothed is filled with raw emotions of glee, and you can watch Matt get down on one knee above.
Annabel also shared her joy on Instagram by posting three pictures with Matt and her gorgeous cushion ring.
She simply captioned the photos, "31/10. Because there's nothing quite as scary as commitment 🎃💍."
Her fiancée's former co-star Jules Robinson commented, "Congratulations!! 😍😍😍."
