If there was anyone we were barracking for on Married at First Sight to get a happy ending, it was “Australia’s most confident bride” Elizabeth “Lizzie” Sobinoff.
While at first, the extroverted and curvaceous blonde/brunette/blonde/black-haired beauty ruffled feathers, she soon became a fan favourite.

In the four weeks she was in the experiment, Lizzie was paired with husband Sam Ball – a relationship which was doomed from the start.
While we thought him calling her a “big” girl was bad, he then went MIA on their honeymoon after his ex-girlfriend’s mother passed away suddenly – leaving Lizzie to drown her sorrows with Nutella, Cadbury’s chocolate and toasted pizza.
Then the ultimate betrayal – Sam had an “affair” with the brutally honest Ines Basic, and all behind his wife’s back.
So to say that her experience in the experiment was anything but tumultuous and a little unfair would be an understatement.

But now our girl Lizzie has found new love outside of the experiment and it’s someone that she already knows.
Talking to the Daily Telegraph, Lizzie revealed: “There is someone I’m testing the waters with but you never know,” she said.
“He’s an ex. There’s always (been) a soft spot there.”
While some would say you should never go back to an ex, Lizzie insists that she’s in a “different headspace” now and so is her ex.
In fact, he’s grown up a lot.

Some fan may be worried he’s come into the picture because of her fame, it doesn’t bother the 27-year-old retail manager.
“This was a year and a half ago and he was hitting me up all the time but I just wasn’t giving him the time of day,” she told the publication.
“He’s like a bad smell. You know those bad smells that are so bad they’re good? That’s my ex.”
Ahh, so romantic Liz!
As for her unfaithful hubby on the show, things are set to EXPLODE at on tonight’s grand finale episode, which airs Monday at 7.30pm.

In a chat with Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny, Lizzie revealed that everything comes undone.
“Boy will that be exciting, you’re going to love this, you’re going to love it, it will be very, very exciting and it something that people are not going to want to miss,” she said.
“That was the first time I’ve had actually seen that back last night when he had denied having anything to do with her, pure lies.”
And what about Ines’ very detailed “claims” regarding Sam’s bedroom habits on her Insta story?
“I 110% believe Ines,” Lizzie revealed.
