We’ve been playing a guessing game all week and now it’s official – Married at First Sight’s Jessika Power and Dan Webb are OVER – and not a moment too soon.
And finally, we can all sleep at night!
In an interview with Yahoo Lifestyle, Dan revealed the status of their relationship after Jess told KIIS FM’S Kyle and Jackie O that they were “working through their issues.”
“Me and Jess have split, let’s get that straight. We have broken up,” Dan said during the video interview.
“There’s allegations coming out that we’re still together. She’s saying we’re still together. We are not together.”

During the chat, the single dad also expressed “regret” over ever having met the Admin assistant and revealed that their relationship came under strain when after filming the reunion episode.
“Me and Jess have split, let’s get that straight. We have broken up,” says Dan.
“There’s no way I am going to be dating that girl after the rumours and the stuff that’s been sent to me over the past 24 to 48 hours,” he told the cameras.
“I’m glad I’ve finished it. It’s done.”
OUCH!
Dan even admitted in his break-up interview that he was suspicious of MAFS season five star Telv Williams and Jess.
“Last weekend, we had an event with Nova on the Thursday and I had to fly back to the Gold Coast because I had family obligations. Telv said something then [on the] Friday she was in Melbourne doing an event and he was in Melbourne and she was trying to screw him that night as well,” Dan told the outlet.
“Like, fair dinkum, we had the best night on the Thursday night before that and it makes me feel like I’ve been played again,” he sobbed through tears.
“I was going to introduce this girl to my son! I actually love this girl. I wanted something with her and she’s so many good qualities. In a woman But I just don’t understand how she can be so mixed up in things!”
In fact, the father-of-one claims Jess and Telv hooked up in December.
“[Telv] messaged me on Instagram saying they hooked up just before Christmas,” Dan said.
While Telv told the publication he had “no idea” Jess was dating Dan at the time.
“Dan seems like a really good guy. I feel for him,” Telv revealed in a statement.

During the grand finale episode, Jess was finally forced to face the music and re-watch the moment she hit on Cyrell’s husband Nic Jovanovic.
Although Nic rejected Jess’ advances, it was the first time Dan had ever seen the footage and he couldn’t have felt more betrayed as he had specifically asked Jess if she had made a move on anyone else in the experiment other than him, to which she promised she hadn’t.
Jess and Dan then appeared on Nine’s MAFS spin-off show Talking Married for what shaped up to be the world’s most awkward interview ever.
The frosty couple sat miles apart from each other with Jess shooting daggers at Dan and the co-hosts, who re-played the infamous Nic footage again and asked the pair if they’d managed to overcome their trust issues.
“It was disgusting, it was really, really hard watching it back. Seeing him hurt tonight, it’s hurting me as well,” the blonde bombshell admitted after having to watch the painful video with her new man for a second time.

Then there were those cheating allegations on KIIS FM, when a caller claimed that Jessika had sent her a very hectic message asking: “Can you please tell me what happened with Dan? I’ve just been through so much I feel like maybe this will help me move on.”
But then it was claimed that Jessika had cheated on Dan with Love Island’s Eden Dally, who is now dating MAFS’ Cyrell Jimenez-Paule, who was married to Nic Jovanovic on the show – the one Jess was supposed to have had a dalliance with. Keeping up?
Jess then sent the country into a tailspin after she shared a cryptic Instagram caption on a new post which she created for Dirty Thirties Cosmetics.
Simply writing: “Thank you, Next”, fans were convinced that she and Dan had indeed now broken up, as she referenced Ariana Grande’s hit break up song.”
We’re hardly surprised that this has happened, and frankly, thank you to Dan for FINALLY coming clean – because now we can all get on with our lives and live happily knowing that Dan and Jess are done-zo.
