The pair have had a rocky 24-hours after it was revealed by Woman’s Day that the 35-year-old cricket player was reportedly in a relationship just weeks before he entered the experiment.

Stepping out at a Huawei smartphone launch in Sydney on Thursday April 11th, the pair were all smiles as they posed for photographers on the red carpet.
Keen to put on a brave front in the aftermath of the shocking allegations, Cam and Jules didn’t address the scandal but instead let their amorous display do all the talking.
At one point, Cam even gave his real-life fiancee a kiss on the cheek.

According to comments left on social media this week, former professional cricket star Cam Merchant appears to have left behind a disgruntled ex-girlfriend just prior to finding TV fame.
In comments left on the official Woman’s Day Instagram page, one user, believed to be a friend of the ex, wrote “What a load of crap” in response to a photo of the happy couple out celebrating their recent engagement news.
“Together with a girl for four years. Attended my wedding with her. Applied for MAFS while still in a relationship. Got accepted and left the girl to be part of the show. Grub #Hungryforfame,” the poster added.

The ex-girlfriend in question is said to be 30-year-old Tina Ciccio from Manly. The couple reportedly dated from 2014 to August 2018 before Cam was approached to star on Married at First Sight.
According to well-placed sources, it was while Cam was out drinking at Manly’s Wharf Bar in August last year, the 35-year-old was approached by a member of the production company to appear on the show, from there Woman’s Day is told he was fast tracked through the audition process due to his likeness.
But while Cam has become something of a people’s champion among viewers, it appears friends of his reported ex, Tina, have had enough.

While Cam and Jules have declined to comment to Woman’s Day about this, they opened up earlier this week at our #MAFSLIVE party.
The couple appear to be in the best place they’ve ever been.
Speaking to a packed crowd, the lovebirds gushed their words of support to their fans, and later told Woman’s Day they’ve never been happier.
