Channel Nine’s trailer gave us some more insights into this year’s brides and grooms who will be taking part in the ultimate experiment.

While we don’t know too much about them, we can expect to see a same-sex coupling, someone’s dad refusing to attend the ceremony and many tears.

But we will also see the return of Elizabeth ‘Lizzie’ Sobinoff, who starred on last year’s season.

“I’m going to get the love that I deserve,” the new brunette says in the trailer before crossing her fingers.

Last year wasn’t exactly smooth sailing for Lizzie in the love department.

Not only did her groom Sam Ball fat shame her on their wedding day, but he also cheated on her with fellow bride Ines Basic in what was one of the most controversial moments on Aussie reality TV.

However by the time the finale rolled round, Lizzie had secured herself as an unlikely feminist icon when she slammed her on-screen husband.

Lizzie is rumoured to be entering the experiment with former AFL player Sebastian Guilhaus as an intruder couple, but is seems he’s no stranger to controversy.

In fact, according to Woman’s Day, in 2018 the Woodville-West Torrens ruckman was fined $10,000 and served a three-match ban for comments on social media dissing the SANFL.
