Married At First Sight‘s Tracey Jewel is about to embark on another search for happily ever after.
Not only has the accomplished author taken a seat on Oprah‘s couch (“It was amazing!” she says), but this isn’t her first brush with reality TV!
“I was approached to go on The Bachelor,” Tracey admitted.

Woah, hottie about to marry a stranger say whaaaat?
Yep, it’s true!
“It was actually to go on Blake Garvey’s season, which is weird because we’ve actually dated before,” Tracey explained.
“We met during high school, we were 17.”
“Yeah,” she laughed, “we were both each other’s firsts.”
Oh my gosh, stop! Tell us everything about Bachie Blake when he’s in boyfriend mode.
“He was really shy, really sweet, still very handsome,” Tracey spills. “He was so lovely.”
Despite his not so favourable run on The Bachelor – let’s be real, you don’t get branded a love rat for nothing – Tracey was shocked for a whole different reason.
Tracey knew (and dated!) Blake Garvey long before he was branded a “love rat” after his stint on The Bachelor.
“I was surprised he proposed!” she told OK!.
“We all make mistakes in the moment, [but] don’t break the poor girl’s heart! You didn’t need to take it that far buddy!” she added.
“But I’ve known him all this time, we have history, I’m not going to judge him.”
Speaking of proposals, Tracey even touched on her own (almost) engagement.
“It was a disaster,” she admitted.
“It was Christmas Eve. I came home, there were red roses and a Tiffany box.”
Sounds pretty much perfect, right?
“We knew each other for nine months and it went from 0 to 100 miles an hour. We were only just starting to discuss moving in, so it was all too soon.”
