Another Married At First Sight couple seems to have died after Aleks and Ivan’s relationship exploded at the latest dinner party.
Bride Aleks was accused of going on a secret date with a mystery man, before the drama was turned up a notch when her on-screen husband Ivan told Michael and Josh to lie and say that he and Aleks had slept together.
Following the dinner party, viewers were left baffled about what the truth really was, but now Aleks has spoken out with past and present MAFS stars lending their support to her.
Ivan and Aleks were at the centre of the drama at the latest dinner party.
(Image: Nine Network)Captioning a still of herself from the dinner party episode, Aleks wrote: “I can speak my truth until I’m black and blue in the face and some of you will still choose to not believe it. At the end of the day, I know who I am, I know how I’ve been raised and I know my moral compass and worth and that is enough for me.”
“Unfortunately, this experiment did not prepare me for rumours to be made and stories to be spun. I am better than that and have never been one to justify myself to people who truly know me,” she added.
“Before you judge me, remember that I am a human just like you.”
Aleks’ friend and former MAFS star Dino Hira commented, “You don’t have to justify a thing! As a friend I can say that you are just honest and down to earth! You will rise above all these petty rumours.”
“Unfortunately, this experiment did not prepare me for rumours to be made and stories to be spun.”
(Image: Nine Network)Dean Wells from season six also commented, “Moral compasses are like assholes. Everyone’s got one just please don’t point yours at me,” adding in a second comment, “In other words. Don’t worry about what morons say about you. Its a bloody TV show. They all need to relaaaaax.”
Natasha, who left the show with her on-screen husband Mikey wrote, “You know your truth, you owe it to no one to explain yourself. Proud of you xx.”
But perhaps the sweetest exchange was between Aleks and Josh, the latter of whom apologised to Aleks beneath a supportive comment, she wrote after his video slamming Nine and the way the show is edited.
“Aleks, from the bottom of my heart, thank you . And I’m sorry I got caught up in this shit show and lost myself at times along the way xx,” Josh commented.
“Honestly we all did. No grudges from me. You’re a beautiful person and keep being yourself,” Aleks replied to which Josh replied once more by saying: “Means so much, thank you.”
Josh has shared his support of both Aleks and Ivan.
(Images: Nine Network)Ivan hasn’t stayed silent after the night’s proceedings though, and shared a photo of himself, Steve, Michael and Jonethen looking exasperated at the dinner party.
“Go easy homies. Life isn’t always as it seems,” he captioned the snap.
“Not a lot of truth to the accusations you saw play out this evening and Aleks has treated me a lot better than what you have seen play out. Please be mindful of this when casting judgement.”
Ivan was met with praise, including former MAFS star Jules Robinson’s comment: “Yet again…. Gentleman,” and even received support from Josh as well.
“Despite how any of this as well as myself came across, I’ll back both @ivansarakula @aleks.markovic_ are beautiful people! I got caught in this mafs bubble, love has both,” he wrote.

(Image: Nine Network)Ivan and Aleks were once the strongest couple on the show, and despite some initial awkward moments on their wedding day, the bond grew.
Whilst there wasn’t much of a sexual, romantic attraction, they quickly became friends and recognised that they have a similar sense of humour.
Cracks first appeared during the groom home-stay week when Aleks confessed she didn’t feel a spark, admitting there were aspects of their relationship that they “lack and miss.”
But the biggest clue that the once rock solid couple are over after a telling Instagram conversation between Aleks and Stacey was revealed with Aleks saying of their marriages, “We must have been losing our minds! Or maybe just falling for the f*ck boy lies and manipulation.”
