Two years after going on Married At First Sight, Jessika Power may have finally found her real future husband. Jess tells TV WEEK that she and Filip Poznanovic have only been together for a “really short amount of time”, but they’ve talked about their future.

“He wants what I want, which is marriage and family,” she says.

“It’s something that we’ve obviously spoken about. It won’t happen now but I’m 29, I’m not getting any bloody younger and I would love to have children, one day.”

It may be new but Jess is happy with Filip.

Filip, a recording artist, is a friend of Jess’s brother Rhyce, and that’s how they met.

“We both had been hurt in our relationships, and he would come to me for advice, and I would go to him for advice, and I think we bonded through that,” she explains.

“Then he asked my brother for approval to take me out one night.”

Jess says she wanted to have children two years ago when she went on MAFS – where, memorably, she swapped her original “husband”, Mick Gould, for Dan Webb.

‘When I swapped with Dan, I didn’t do it just out of spite, I did it because I fell in love with him and I did it because he wanted a family as well. People really didn’t see that side of Dan and me.”

Jess is back for the MAFS reunion.

Jess is back on TV this week in the MAFS Grand Reunion. She reveals that after Cyrell threw wine at her at the dinner party, she was “shaken up” and “really upset”.

“I just didn’t want to go back,” she says.

But after speaking to the show’s executive producer, Tara McWilliams, she decided to return for the second part of the reunion and say her piece.

“Tara assured me that she’d spoken to Cyrell [and] there was security on set, if need be,” she adds.

Jess was wary of returning after feuding with Cyrell.

Jess says everyone at the reunion had grown and matured, but Cyrell seemed like “the same Cyrell we were all used to watching back in 2019”.

“It’s really sad. That night after the dinner party, I sat in my hotel room, and I just thought, ‘I actually feel really sorry for her. Like, how much hurt is she carrying in herself that such a small comment on the internet has made her so angry?'”

As for Jess, she’s now focusing on Instagram and studying for her qualifications in beauty and professional skin treatments. She’s also asked her manager to get her on SAS Australia.

“I know I’m only little but I reckon I could do it.”
