Could we have an OFFICIAL forever couple from Love Island Australia?
After looking gorgeous at Derby Day in Melbourne on Saturday, Tayla Damir has posted a (not so) cryptic pic post to her Instagram story implying that she and boyfriend, Dom Thomas are engaged.
Is this for real? It looks like Tayla Damir and Dom Thomas are ENGAGED! (Source: Instagram).
Unfortunately – it was all a joke, as Tayla, 21, then added another post to her Instagram:
“No I’m not engaged but I did have fun wearing this beautiful ring today thanks to @armansjewellery. This stunning piece was one of 6 diamond rings that they will be giving away. So girls don’t rely on a man to buy you one, follow @armansjewellery…. #armansjewellery #whatsyourarmansstyle #stitchedup #notengaged #gotcha”
This is some good marketing, Tayla – and yes, we fell for it. HARD.
Dom, 26, and Tayla became “insta-official” back in October, however, it’s unclear how long they’ve actually being dating.
This news was been made all the more exciting when we looked back at an exclusive interview with NW from before the series began.
When asked about her “dream guy”, Tayla responded:
“I very much go for blondes with blue eyes,” she said. “It’s so weird, because nobody in my life had that so I think it’s that foreign – like ‘hello! Who are you? You’re different – so I’ve been drawn to that.”
Hmmm blonde hair and blue eyes… tick!
She then said: “I do like somebody that keeps fit and is healthy, just because I like exercising and making sure that I’m being healthy…” Tick!
And personality wise: “I like confidence, but not cocky – that’s kind of a turnoff – just confident enough to come up and have a conversation and hold a conversation and make people laugh.”
Let’s hope they confirm this bad boy for reals eventually and we can officially go on reality TV couple wedding watch!
