Just weeks after being crowned the first winner of Love Island Australia with partner Grant Crapp, Tayla Damir's dream came to an abrupt end.
When she discovered Grant had a secret girlfriend back home, the pair promptly split.
In a further twist, Tayla is now dating fellow Love Island contestant Dom Thomas, who paired up with Shelby Mills on the show and briefly afterwards.
Grant Crapp and Tayla crowned as the winners of Love Island.
Although it might have initially been a bumpy road for the pair, Tayla says the whole experience has been worth it.
"I couldn't be happier," Tayla, 21, reveals to TV WEEK. "The show taught me a lot, not only about myself, but others."
"I was able to meet so many amazing people and made friendships I will treasure forever," she continues. "The show has opened so many amazing doors, and funnily enough, allowed me to find my Mr Right!"

Although Tayla and Grant's very public break up was over more controversial terms, Dom and Shelby's split was slightly more amicable.
Fans began to see the cracks appear in Dom and Shelby's relationship towards the end of the show, particularly after the contestants undertook a lie detector test.
After failing to tell the truth (according to the detector) on a number of questions about his feelings for Shelby, things became tense when the subject turned to Tayla.
When quizzed if he had a crush on Tayla, Dom denied any feelings. However the detector said otherwise, much to Shelby's dismay.
Tayla and Dom were simply meant to be!
Shelby confirmed the split in an Instagram post in early August and commended her former partner, however said they were never official outside the Villa.
As for Tayla and Dom, the pair now spend their time enjoying each other's company which they regularly share online through their Instagram accounts.
Recently the pair ticked off one of their bucket list items, which was to climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge together.
