Another one bites the dust. Love Island runners-up Erin Barnett and Eden Dally have broken up, just two months after the dating show ended.

On the weekend, Erin and Eden shared a joint statement on Instagram, alerting fans of their decision to end their relationship.

Erin and Eden were once thought to be the favourites to win the dating series.

“We wanted to share with you, that after much deliberation, we have quietly parted ways.”

“We look back and cherish the time we have spent together, the memories we have created, in both Spain and in Australia.”

“We can’t thank each and everyone of you enough, for the support and love you have shown us, but we have to be honest within ourselves as we realise that our forever as a couple, is no longer.”

“We look forward to supporting each other moving forward and remain best friends.”

Many believed Erin and Eden’s relationship had the best chance of surviving in the outside world, and the couple agreed.

“We have been the couple that’s been talking about having kids and getting married,” Erin previously told Now To Love.

“We already know we both want two kids. We both want twins – I would love two girls, Eden would want a boy and a girl.”

“And we’ve already talked about marriage and rings, and all that. We’ve already got baby names and stuff like that picked out – it’s all really exciting!”

After this latest Love Island split, the only couple’s from the reality dating show still together are Millie and Mark and Josh and Amelia.
