Every time I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! airs, there's always someone (more often more than one) who viewers are clueless about.
If we had a dollar for every time someone asked, 'who even is that?' we'd be millionaires.
Well, it seems like the producers took it in their stride this year by placing an average joe by the name of Dave into the jungle with a mission to trick the others into thinking he is a social media superstar.

Meet David Subritzky - he's a fun-loving Brit who's based in the Gold Coast but on I'm A Celeb he is The David.
So who is The David? He is a super influencer with 3.9 million followers and a shoe designer with his own brand of exclusive footwear called 8 Inch Daves.
On top of that, it was MasterChef fan fave Poh Ling Yeow's job to convince her campmates that Dave is The David, and for every day they pull it off they get a reward for the entire camp.

Dave may not be a real influencer on "The David"'s level, but he does have something of a social media presence.
With over 15,000 followers, a quick stalk shows that Dave loves a selfie and a glam night out.
He also has a famous family - his sister Layla was the 2012 Big Brother runner-up and he's also been linked to former Married At First Sight bride Davina Rankin.
"I found this guy on Instagram and fell in love with him instantly," she joked to her Instagram followers back in 2018.
Bad luck singletons, David's off the market and recently shared a sweet tribute to his boyfriend, Stephen James.
"Happy 1 year anniversary to my man! 💕 Lots of fun memories shared together & many more to come! We love a mirror selfie," he penned on Instagram.

It's safe to say fans are loving The David, and he earned a legion of fans in the first episode.
"Love the twist. Fake celebrity," tweeted I'm A Celeb alum Yvie Jones.
Let's see how he fares as the competition progresses!
