Sorry, Nollsy but it looks like a case of Australian Idol all over again with many predicting the singer is set to come second best to boxing champion, Danny Green, in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! grand finale.

In a very telling sign, an insider has confirmed to Woman’s Day that Danny Green’s mum and sister have been whisked away to Africa today, which is a powerful indication the boxer could walk away with the crown.

“Danny’s dad couldn’t go because he has Alzheimer’s, and this is why his sister went,” the source explains.

“His wife Nina Green probably would have liked to have gone, but apparently their daughter Chloe is an excellent swimmer and has essential competitive commitments this weekend, and she needed to be here for her.”

Our source says Danny’s mother and sister were given just two day’s notice to jet into the jungle.

Alpha Male Danny Green often divided the camp with the things he said.

Each season, the final few stars are always reunited with their family and they get to spend an emotional day together in camp before the finale.

Indeed, when Now To Love caught up with booted-out butler Paul Burrell earlier in the week he was picking Danny for the top spot.

“My money is on King Danny to win. I think he is a bit of a Superman! Because Danny is a family man, big heart, he loves his kids, he loves his family. And he knows where he’s at!” Paul explained.

Alpha male Danny Green, who has lost a whopping 8.9kgs while in the Jungle, may have had great luck with the challenges but hasn’t had the smoothest time getting along with his camp mates.

Fellow contestant, Jackie Gillies told Now To Love Danny was passive aggressive.

“In the jungle, people didn’t see that Kerry cried because of some of the things Danny had said. Simone was uncomfortable by some of his comments,” she explained.

“You know what, I like Danny. I don’t have a problem with him. I don’t know why he didn’t like me.”

“I tried talking to him to resolve, but he always dismissed me.”

Danny first entered into the South African jungle as an intruder rocking a green boxing robe, he was ready to rumble right from the word go.

As camp leader (at the time) Anthony Mundine’s arch nemesis, there was bound to be a showdown.

The hosts then tried to get the camp mates to pick a team, Anthony or Danny, before the two locked heads in an eating challenge.

Danny won that prize and it seems it was a sign of things to come.
