A hickey causes tension on Farmer Wants A Wife as Allanah confronts Farmer Sam

One of the Farmer Wants A Wife girls on Farmer Sam’s farm has a hickey – and the others aren’t happy.

The five girls have been on Sam’s property in Canowindra, NSW, for less than a week when one of them spots a hickey on another girl’s neck.

The girl with the hickey had stayed up late with Sam the night before.

“One of the girls told me,” Allanah, 24, tells TV WEEK. “At first, I was like, ‘There’s no chance.’ But then it all unfolded. I felt like we were 15 again and at the local underage disco.”

Sam takes the girls waterskiing, and afterwards, while they’re eating lunch, Allanah confronts him over the hickey.

Other girls join in, with one asking straight out if he “hooked up” the night before. The 25-year-old sheep and crop farmer is feeling the pressure.

“Sam overreacted, which we can all do sometimes, and then started drifting on his boat alone in anger,” Allanah says. “I thought it was very odd. I was looking around at everyone going, ‘What?'”

The student nurse from Victoria says she had an “instant connection” with Sam when they met, but on the farm, the situation changed from day to day.

“Some days it was heaven and some days it was hell,” she explains. “Sam surprised me every day. Each day my mind changed – some days I thought we had a connection, and on others I was wondering what on Earth I had got myself into.”

This isn’t the first scandal Sam has had to weather before filming rumours were swirling that he had a secret girlfriend.

Sam is quite an eligible bachelor, but several people have taken to TikTok to comment that he’s not actually how he seems in the trailers.

On the FWAW TikTok post, one person shockingly claimed that Sam wasn’t single in the comment section.

The person wrote, “My friend knows this guy, and he had a longterm GF whilst filming this.”
