Farmer Wants A Wife has a reputation for being one of the more wholesome reality TV shows on our screens.
But things became heated during Sunday night's episode, when one of the show's farmers, Harry, accused a lady vying for his heart of cheating on him with a crew member.
Contestant Karlana reportedly became close with a crew member on set, but she has outright denied any claims that she cheated, or that her affections were even romantic.
Nonetheless, Harry was especially hurt by the rumour, having been cheated on before in previous relationships.
He sought clarification from two of the other women he was dating, Stacey and Ashleigh, and asked them outright if Karlana was there "for the right reasons".
When asked by Harry, Ashleigh explained that Karlana had said there was a crew member she was "interested" in, a fact which outraged Harry.
He then confronted Karlana and she later left the show in tears.
Now, Ashleigh has taken to Instagram to explain why she "dobbed" Karlana in that night, admitting she "probably shouldn't have" told Harry those details.
"Let's address this right now: Two things I HATE most in this world - CHEATERS AND LIARS. And these are two things that I am ABSOLUTELY NOT! The one thing I value above ANYTHING else in the world is honesty," Ashleigh wrote on Instagram.
"And I make it my damn mission to be as honest as I possibly can in all situations. Did I tell someone about something I shouldn't have? Sure did. Dumb of me, and I admit that on NATIONAL TELEVISION. And I'll admit it every. Damn. Day," she added.
But she refuted claims that she deliberately sabotaged's Karlana's reputation with Harry, in a bid to send her home and get closer to the farmer herself.
"Did I make it up to cause drama or to get rid of someone? No. It was the whole conversation we had. I relayed the WHOLE conversation to someone else, honestly in one of those 'you won't believe this!' moments. I did NOT speak to Harry. And stupidly, I did NOT stop to think that this is reality TV, and there's no way that this will just go way gently," she clarified.
"I was truly upset at how everything played out the night of the ball. I am willing to shoot myself in the foot, as long as I'm being honest. Make your own mind up, that's your prerogative, but I know damn well that not one single lie came out of my mouth that night, or that whole time, and I'm good with that."
The drama is set to continue over the next few episodes of Farmer Wants A Wife, with one farmer leaving the show on Sunday night due to the death of a family member.
"It was really unexpected," the farmer revealed to TV WEEK.
"It was really hard, because you're dealing with a lot of emotions from the show and are stressed out – and then, boom."

The farmer, who must remain anonymous for now, until the episode airs, says the family member who died would have wanted him to stay on the show and keep looking for love, but he didn't know if he could continue.
"Part of me was like, 'I just can't, because I just don't think I can be myself'," he explained.
"I didn't think I could give the girls 100 per cent."
Farmer Wants A Wife airs on Sunday nights at 7.30pm and Monday nights at 7pm.
