While he’s beaming to be back on the dancefloor after taking out the mirror ball in 2008, Luke Jacobz’s second attempt at taking home the Dancing With The Stars trophy is twinged with the sadness that his fiancee Raychel Stuart isn’t there to see him.

“It’s hard, everyone had their loved ones in the audience and I would have loved to have had her there – but it’s just the way it is,” he tells Woman’s Day.

The 40-year-old former Home And Away star, who proposed to US-based Raychel in 2018 after meeting in LA, has had to endure a long-distance relationship due to COVID-19.

And while the rigorous visa application process has certainly been a strain for them, he says they’re finally ready to start planning their wedding again as she’s finally on her way to Australia.

“It only took five years for us to prove that we’re actually in a legitimate relationship,” he says.

“But she’s finally coming, she’ll be here in June!”

The couple were forced to delay their wedding in November last year, and while Luke admits they’ve yet to set a new date, he already knows one thing that won’t be happening at the ceremony.

“I hope she doesn’t want me to choreograph any dances for our wedding because that won’t be happening,” he laughs.
