Samuel Johnson has taken a hilarious ‘swipe’ at I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in his first posts about Dancing With The Stars.

Sam will be competing on the reality dance series with the aim of raising more money for his cancer charity Love Your Sister. The charity, which was started with his beautiful sister Connie Johnson, aims to raise $10 million for cancer research.

In celebration of this morning’s cast announcement, the DWTS contestant took to Facebook to share a post about his dance training and poke fun at the rumours he was going to appear on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.

Sam will be joined by Cassandra Thorburn and Sir Curtly Ambrose.

“F–k that jungle caper, I’m gonna tango towards ten million!” Sam writes on Facebook.

“I’ve never felt sexy in my life. Ever. I’m so unco. My posture sucks. I sweat too much, which has led to a fear of contact. Enough. I’m sick of feeling all wrong. So I’m on a mission to find some Latin in these hips. Somehow. Maybe it’s not there. But f–k it, Connie taught me to make now awesome.

“So, because I’m a boofhead that likes biting off more than I can chew, and chewing like hell, I’ve signed up for Dancing With The Stars, even if I do dance like a giraffe spaghetti man.

“Fortunately, my dance partner Jorja Freeman is the absolute bomb. If anyone can get me close, it’s this dynamo. She is such a patient, wise teacher and she’s a super creative choreographer. I trust her COMPLETELY.”

Sam finished off the post thanking his fans, or ‘village women’ as they are known in the Love Your Sister community.

“And to every single one of the thousands of village women who have urged me to “take some time”, or “find something for you”… this one is for me, but it’s thanks to you. So if it all goes belly-up, it’s your fault! Seriously though, thanks for looking after me so well,” he signed off.

He also shared a similar post on Instagram, with a ballroom photo with his partner Jorja.

In the caption he added that he’s “all in” for the competition “even if I do dance like a giraffe spaghetti man.”

Jorja was previously partnered with Home and Away star Tai Hara in 2014, when Dancing With The Stars aired on Channel Seven.

The actor and his dance partner made it very far in the competition, only being eliminated in the second last episode. Will 2019 be the year Jorja takes her partner to the grand finale?

Dancing With The Stars is coming soon to Network 10.
