Can you believe it’s been 21 years since Big Brother Australia first came on to screens?

To honour the special occasion, the good folks at Channel Seven have decided to combine new contestants with some of the most beloved housemates from past seasons to see who will come out on top.

Yes, we’re excited to meet the newbies but they’ll have their work cut out for them with some reality TV royalty joining them in the house.

It’s been nearly 20 years since Reggie Bird won in 2003 so could she go take the crown again? Or could fan favourite Tully Smyth steal victory this time?

Hosted once again by Sonia Kruger, there are going to be challenges and nominations galore but we’ll just have to wait and see what will go down.

She then broke down in tears in the diary room, saying: “It’s not normal to be in this environment with your ex-boyfriend. It’s unnecessarily cruel.”

“Big Brother changed my life. I was the little Aussie battler and I related to a lot of people. Big Brother‘s in my blood, I just can’t believe I’m here! This may be a new game, but I’m still the same old Reggie,” she declares in a preview.

The 42-year-old also broke down in tears while discussing her diagnosis with retinitis pigmentosa, a rare eye disease that can cause total blindness.

“I’ve now lost all of my peripheral vision, I have no night vision. I could wake up tomorrow and it’s going to be gone. Oh I’m going to cry!” she says in the speak peek.
