During his stint on last year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, there was only one time that UK model Kris Smith wanted to shout, “Get me outta here!” – and that’s when Bachelor villain Keira Maguire landed in camp as an intruder.

The pair constantly exchanged barbs on the show, and since then they’ve been doing their best to avoid each other.

Now they’re both about to dominate our screen time again as Kris joins The Living Room as a guest host and Keira arrives on Bachelor In Paradise, where her romance with Sophie Monk’s runner-up Jarrod Woodgate will unfold.

However, one person won’t be watching Keira’s fairytale play out – Kris!

NW catches up with the hunk to chat Keira, I’m A Celeb… and his bromance with The Bachelorette‘s Sasha Mielczarek.

Did you tune into I’m A Celeb… this year?

I missed a lot of it, but there have been feathers ruffled in there. Honestly, I don’t know how I would have handled [David and Lisa] Oldfield. I’ve seen snippets of [their] rude, obnoxious behaviour.

Your fellow I’m A Celeb… castaway – and frenemy! – Keira is heading back to TV soon on Bachelor In Paradise. Are you planning on watching her find love?

That’s more reason not to tune in! I’ve never watched The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. That’s nothing against the people on there or the concept of the show – it’s just not my thing.

But you do have a bromance with Sasha…

He’s a good fella, a genuine person. We laugh, we joke, he’s got great morals. I like people like that. In an industry that can be somewhat pretentious, it’s good to surround yourself with real people.

There was a rumour that you’ll be the next Bachelor, even though you’re loved up with your girlfriend Sarah Boulazeris. Where did this come from?

I have no idea. I’ve never even been asked to be the Bachelor – I just don’t think it’s me!

So even if you were single, there’s no chance of you handing out roses?

Never say never, but it’s not what I’m about. I like an honest connection, not a forced one.
