Tara Pavlovic and Samuel Cochrane’s shock engagement
When “Uncle Sam” made his Bachelor In Paradise entrance, Tara never thought the long-haired larrikin would be the man of her dreams. But in what’s been described as the fairytale romance of the season, Woman’s Day can now reveal the pair are set to wed!
With rumours swirling that one contestant pops the question at the end of the series, our insider says the loved-up couple taking their relationship to the next level are in fact Tara, 28, and Sam, 31, who’ve won a legion of fans since cementing their romance on the show.
“They are in love and it’s completely genuine,” says our source.
“They didn’t argue once in Paradise – it’s as if they were destined to be together!”
Our insider also reveals Sam – who is believed to have moved out of his flat in Sydney and into Tara’s Gold Coast apartment to be closer to his bride-to-be – did everything in his power to make sure the proposal was as memorable as possible.
“He told the other boys they’d better not propose to anyone as he didn’t want anything to ruin his and Tara’s moment,” the source says.
While viewers might question his move and think it’s too soon, his co-stars are all hoping it’ll work out, as they’re the perfect couple.
Die-hard fans of the show won’t be too surprised by the news, given Sam and Tara’s loved-up displays on social media. J
Just last week, head-over-heels Sam captioned a shot of them kissing, “such a beautiful moment with an incredible human”.
For weeks, viewers have speculated it’s Sam’s voice that features in the ad that teases a proposal – and Tara has the lowest odds as the contestant set to say “yes” on Sportsbet.
“It looks like Sam might be getting down on one knee!” wrote one user. ”It DOES sound like Sam!” added another excitedly.

Some would say she’s one of the least controversial contestants on the show but sources have revealed that behind the scenes Lisa, 31, created her own drama – with the show’s producers!
“Producers were sick and tired of Lisa’s diva-like behaviour. She was constantly asking to use her phone during filming for work purposes, which of course isn’t allowed,” says our source.
Simone Ormesher dumped Apollo Jackson over his batman bedsheets
While sparks fly between Apollo Jackson and Simone Ormesher this week, we’re told their loved-up display isn’t quite what it seems – and that the 26-year-old blonde had wanted to hook up with bad boy Blake Colman, 30!
“Simone was shattered to find out Blake had just been eliminated,” says our insider.
“While she goes on a date with Apollo, she doesn’t feel a connection. Producers send them on a long walk down the beach together and later ask them to go into a room together, but nothing happens because there’s nothing [no spark] there! But the producers have their storylines in place and encourage them to say they’ve hooked up.”
However, the producers’ tactics must’ve worked – because sources say the pair met up on the Gold Coast after filming.
Unfortunately for Apollo, 25, Simone’s visit didn’t exactly go to plan.
“Simone couldn’t deal with the fact Apollo still lived with his mum.”
“And to make matters worse, he had Batman bedsheets.”
