He was left “gutted” after Sophie Monk dumped him on the last season of The Bachelorette because of their age difference, but Apollo Jackson says he’s more than ready to find The One on Bachelor in Paradise.

“Going on The Bachelorette, I learnt so much about myself and what I really want and what I’m looking for,” the 25-year-old tells OK!.
“And I realised I do really want that life partner, so that made it easier and clearer in my head going into Paradise with what I was looking for.”
So what is Apollo looking for in a lady?
“I wanted someone who could have a laugh, someone with a fun larrikin personality, someone who was active and adventurous and also could be spontaneous,” he says.
“I’m the type that might just wake up one day and say, ‘Ok, let’s go down to Byron.'”
“I’ve also always liked a child-like nature where someone can just appreciate the small things. I also want someone that has a big heart for other people, who cares for other people and their feelings.”
And despite being so young, the entertainer says he’s ready and willing to take it all the way, if he finds someone special on the show.
“Well, it’s one of those things, isn’t it? You can’t deny it if you’re feeling something. I guess when you know, you know,” he says of whether he would consider popping the question.
Apollo has certainly caught the eye of one or two BiP contestants!
“If you spend enough time with someone – and I mean you do get 24 hours a day to spend with someone in Paradise – and you feel that spark… In the outside world, if you had two two-hour dates a week over 10 weeks, that’s equal to just one day in Paradise, so it can happen. So, I would be prepared to propose!”
