Alisha Aitken-Radburn and Glenn Smith were dubbed the golden couple on Bachelor in Paradise this year, with their love story seemingly becoming one of the only nice things to come out of the show’s never-ending stream of petty drama.
So fans were shocked and heartbroken when rumours emerged just days before the BIP finale that the pair’s romance wasn’t as pure as we once thought, and that these two actually cheated on each other after leaving Paradise.
After days of silence, Alisha has finally addressed the rumours, confirming she and Glenn did hook up with other people after leaving the show together as a couple.
Speaking on the Shameless podcast, Alisha told hosts Michelle Andrews and Zara McDonald that Glenn kissed fellow Bachie star Helena at a party, while she later slept with co-star Scot Fuller as revenge.
“When we left Paradise, about a week after Paradise, we both flew back into Sydney, we spent a week together and then Glenn flew back to Perth. And a week after he FaceTimed me and said we’ve got to speak about something and the day after, he’s gone to a buck’s party, ended up at a party with Helena and they shared a kiss. He rang me the next day, FaceTimed me, told me, obviously I was broken,” Alisha revealed.
“I said to him on the phone, ‘I don’t want to be this girl again, I don’t want to be heartbroken. This was meant to be my fairytale and this sucks’. It was a week of ups and downs. I genuinely believed that he had made a really horrific mistake. I bought that.”
Alisha says she was “broken” by the news of Glenn’s cheating.
(Image: Channel 10)Alisha explained she gave Glenn an ultimatum to allow him to prove he was serious about owning his mistake.
“I was mortified about telling my Mum, so I said, ‘Ok, I don’t know like how serious you are about actually wanting to make this relationship work? If you are, you’re going to ring my Mum and tell her’, and he did. He called my Mum,” she said.
“So that was big for me, because it was accountability, in my eyes. It was ‘I am actually serious about making this work’, because it’s not an easy thing to do. So that happened.”
Alisha asked Glenn to call her mother to reveal he had cheated on her.
(Image: Channel 10)But then, in the midst of her heartbreak, Alisha herself cheated on Glenn with another BIP castmate.
“Then the weekend after, me sitting in my hurt, how broken I was, that manifested in a really unhealthy way and at a party I slept with Scot,” she revealed.
“That happened and honesty is the best policy, I shared that with Glenn straight away and then that forced us … he was actually over in Sydney the very next day. We sat down in a park and we had some really big conversations.
“For me, one of my biggest ones was philosophically getting past, people throw around ‘Once a cheater, always a cheater’. Am I going to be my own biggest detriment if I decide to proceed with this relationship? And we had those big conversations and that was really nine months ago.”
Alisha said the pair have since put both of their cheating incidents behind them.
“We moved past it … I think this will be unpacked even further probably, over the years I guess,” she said.
The star says the couple have now “moved past” their indiscretions.

(Image: Instagram)Earlier this week, Alisha revealed to Woman’s Day that marriage and a baby is definitely on the cards for the lovebirds still, despite their hiccup.
“Glenn has been the first person in my life that I believe it to be true [that we will get married],” she revealed.
“I’m so excited to just live our lives, but those are the next steps, definitely.”
Since the show, Alisha has relocated to Perth to be with Glenn and is living with him and his twin brother Neil and his boyfriend Marty.
“Me and Marty are besties, it’s been so much fun,” she says.
