There’s a reason that mum-to-be Khloé Kardashian has been rocking curlier locks lately — and it has nothing to do with changing hormones. The 33-year-old reality star, who’s expecting her first child with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, explained that she’s used chemical treatments to achieve her smooth, straight strands — but now that she’s pregnant, she has to steer clear of the procedure.

“I have been Brazilian blow-drying my hair for years because I want straight hair and you always want what you don’t have. Now that I’m pregnant I can’t do that, so my curl is slowly coming back,” KoKo told her Snapchat followers as she twirled around her tresses. “It’s always curlier underneath, and I actually like it now.”

Though the Good American co-founder can’t undergo any harsh hair treatments for now, she can still use other products to ensure that her locks look picture perfect. In fact, in another Snapchat clip, she begged her good friend and hairstylist Jen Atkin for more bottles of her Ouai Wave Spray, asking, “Jen, because I’m cheap and I don’t want to buy this, can you send me some more of this? Please.”

Needless to say, the Revenge Body star can surely afford dozens of hair products on her own, though she has plenty of other things to focus on — like choosing a name for her baby.

“I can barely decide what I want to eat. Let alone name a baby,” the star tweeted. However, she told Ellen DeGeneres, “If it’s a boy I’ll go with Junior — Tristan Jr.,” adding, “Then for a girl, I don’t know where to begin.”

Khloé has continued to share details of her pregnancy ever since she made the official announcement, which didn’t come for nearly three months after the news originally broke.

“I believe there are certain things that need to be held private and for yourself,” she explained of taking her time to share her excitement. “It was beautiful to have something that was just ours.”

For the record, the star is due in late March or early April. Let the countdown begin!
