She’s due to give birth any day now.

And now, speculation is rife that Pippa Middleton will welcome her first child in the same hospital as her older sister, The Duchess of Cambridge, after she was spotted at the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital in London’s Paddington.

On Tuesday, October 2nd a heavily pregnant Pippa Middleton and her billionaire husband James Matthews were seen walking through the iconic doors of the hospital.

Pippa cut a casual figure in a navy wrap coat, a low ponytail and a tote bag.

However it appears the couple were just paying a visit to the maternity ward, perhaps to do a last-minute recce.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s younger sister confirmed she was expecting her first child in June.

According to Harper’s Bazaar, Pippa and James were seen arriving at the hospital around 6:30pm and left about an hour later.

Duchess Catherine and Prince William have welcomed all three of their children at the Lindo Wing and it has served as the historical backdrop for each of their children’s introductions to the world.

It’s not just royals who love the maternity ward. George and Amal Clooney’s twins Alexander and Ella were born here in June, 2017.

And it’s little wonder why the A-list stars flock here to give birth, with many clients revealing the Lindo Wing is more like a five-star hotel than a hospital.

Rooms start at around an eye-watering £5,900 per night (about $AUD10,780) and the maternity package includes afternoon tea, post-delivery massages and champagne.

Iconic scenes: All three of Duchess Catherine and Prince William’s children were born at the Lindo Wing.

We can’t wait to meet Pippa and James’ bundle of joy! While their first child isn’t technically a royal baby per se, it will certainly have blue-blooded first cousins in Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, three, and six-month-old Prince Louis.

Baby Matthews will also have another little playmate after James’ brother Spencer Matthews and his wife Vogue Williams welcomed their son, Theodore Frederick Michael, last month.

Opening up about her pregnancy, the 35-year-old revealed that unlike Kate she was thankfully not suffering from morning sickness.

“I was lucky to pass the 12 week scan without suffering from morning sickness. That meant I was able to carry on as normal,” she said in her monthly column for Waitrose magazine.

The fitness guru also wrote about adjusting her rigorous workout regime to ensure a healthy pregnancy.

“When I learned the happy news that I was pregnant I realised I needed to adjust my 4 to 5-day-a-week routine.”

We’ll be keeping a firm eye on the doors of the Lindo Wing in the coming days!

In good company! Pippa’s baby will be first cousins to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
