Beloved MasterChef contestant Tommy Pham and his partner Wendy have introduced their second child to fans, and it’s a BOY!
The proud father posted the announcement on Instagram and revealed they bestowed the little one with the name Hugo by sharing a picture of him bonding with his big brother.
Tommy captioned the sweet shot, “Aight fam here’s some news to brighten your day!
“Introducing our brand spanking new baby Hugo ! There’s an absolutely craazy story behind his birth but I’ll save it for next time!
“This post is more an appreciation of our little blessing who is a healthy and happy boy!
“Miles is in love with his baby brother 😍 His fav things to do with Hugo is cuddle (a little too hard) and run to him and say “it’s OK no cwying” when he’s crying (too bad that doesn’t work 😂 )
“Looks like mum is completely outnumbered 3 to 1 now so soz mum boyz rule 4eva 🤙 👊 😎,” he wrote.
Fans celebrated the happy news by commenting their congratulations.
One wrote “Congratulations!!! Beautiful!,” and another gushed, “Awww! Congratulations to the beautiful, growing Pham fam! So much love to you and Wendy 💕💕✨.”
MasterChef judge Melissa Leong also shared, “Aunty Mel cant wait to meet you, Hugo. X.”
The cook announced the news of Wendy’s pregnancy after he was eliminated from the Fans and Favourites season.
He wrote in his goodbye post, “Yes our little family is becoming a full fledged family of 6 (doggies included) and man oh man it’s gonna get real hectic real soon!”
In an exclusive chat with TV WEEK, Tommy revealed they found out about the pregnancy when he got the call from Network Ten’s producers about the show.
“My partner was like, ‘What? You can’t leave me,'” he recalled.
Luckily, the producers went above and beyond for the couple, who already shared an adorable son called Miles.
“The producers and everything were really nice, and they were like, ‘Tommy, you’re a returning contestant; we’re going to give you something special, you can bring your family out, and that made the decision so much easier,” he said.

(Image: Instagram)Since their baby was born, Tommy is undoubtedly in the thick of “chaos,” but he wouldn’t have it any other way.
“I’m definitely nervous [about baby number two]. I think I’m gonna have to embrace the chaos because there’s no way about it. There’s going to be chaos,” he shared.
“If you don’t embrace it, then I think you’ll be in tears every single day.”
It’s also safe to say that the 31-year-old’s eldest child, Miles is in love with his sibling – after all, he adores babies!

Tommy spent most of Miles’ early years on MasterChef, and it was a “sacrifice” he made for his family that was sometimes bittersweet.
But with two seasons under his belt and a strong following, his plans with baby number two are to “spend more time at home” until everything “settles” again.
