Block baby! Luke Packham and his fiancée Olivia have welcomed their first child – and she’s precious

Congratulations are in order for The Block star Luke Packham and his fiancée Olivia, who have welcomed a baby girl to the world!

The happy couple took to their Instagram on Tuesday afternoon to share a touching picture of their newborn, who they named Mia Jessica Packham.

Luke proudly penned a love-filled caption, which read: “Our little Mia Jessica Packham was born yesterday! She is healthy and doing great. We love her so very much!”

The former Love Island star also assured his following that more details are coming: “I will be uploading some photos of her in the near future.”

The 28-year-old announced the exciting and surprising news with Woman’s Day in October last year.

“It wasn’t planned, but we always said, ‘If it happens, it happens,’ and that’s how we’ve approached the situation, but we were both stoked when we found out.

“It was such a happy time,” said Olivia, 29, who was four months pregnant at the time.

After getting engaged in 2020, the couple planned to say their ‘I dos’ before starting a family, but they decided to put things on hold with Covid-19 and The Block getting in the way.

“We were looking at a few wedding venues, but then the pandemic and The Block happened, so we put it on hold, and shortly after that, Olivia was pregnant!

“It would have been around this time that we were looking to get married,” said Luke.

“But we couldn’t be happier.”

Uncle Josh also shared his plans to spoil his niece and have a big part in her life.

“I’m going to spoil her! I don’t think I’ll be a dad any time soon, so it’ll be a bit like trial and error for me. I’m really looking forward to it,” he shared.

Even though the twins saw relative success on The Block, when Olivia was asked by Woman’s Day if she would allow her partner and his brother to design the nursery, she retorted, “Definitely not the boys.”

“We’re over it,” quipped Luke.
