It’s been a little while since we’ve heard from Tessa James, with many fans speculating the actress could have already welcomed her baby in recent weeks.

But the 26-year-old, who is married to NRL player Nate Myles, has taken to social media to try and convince us her bub is still cooking.

But we have some theories of our own…

Tessa recently posted this pic, which prompted a very curious friend to ask if it was a recent shot.

The stunning mama-to-be shared a beach-side snap showing her basking in the sun – her baby bump on full display in a stylish black one-piece.

“Summer 2017,” the star cryptically captioned the snap, which could perhaps indicate it’s a throwback and maybe she’s trying to throw us off the scent and her baby has been born?

Or perhaps, like so many of us at the start of a new year, Tessa simply forgot to write 2018.

Tessa’s agent confirmed she was five months pregnant in August last year, so according to our calculations her due date was around December.

Further fuelling speculation she has maybe become a mum, last week Tessa posted a shot of Manly’s iconic Shelly Beach walkway which prompted a curious friend to ask: “Ummm is this a current photo??”

To which Tessa replied: “I wish.”

It’s all very confusing indeed, but one thing’s for sure – Tessa has never looked happier or healthier!

Tessa and husband Nate Myles can’t wait to welcome their first child together.

Fans were quick to inundate the beautiful bump snap with well-wishes.

“Look at you, you hot mummy to be. You look amazing pregnancy really suits you. Good luck for the rest of it Hun,” one person penned.

“Look at that blooming fabulous bump. Gorgeous,” another agreed.

“OMG u look fantastic. I wish I did when I was that far. My princess is 9 weeks old now. It’s an amazing feeling been a mummy good luck xxx,” a third noted.

Despite keeping a pretty low-profile during her pregnancy, she stunned on the December cover of Elle.

“Being pregnant is a miracle because growing a baby, it’s pretty incredible when you think about it. When you haven’t had children and you see mums and kids everywhere you just think that’s normal. But when it happens to you, you’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, all these women have done this? Wow,” she told the glossy.

After overcoming her battle with Hodgkin’s lymphoma the couple, who tied the knot in 2011, couldn’t be more excited to become parents.
