The Gossip Girl star also craves small batch pickles, according to Heat magazine, and she sends her husband, Ryan Reynolds, out in the middle of the night for them.

It shouldn’t surprise us that Blake’s cravings are of the garden variety as she is a known foodie of organic and artisan tastes.

But plenty of other celebrities have revealed weird cravings during pregnancy as well, and we’re not just talking about the usual pickles and ice-cream desires.

Some cravings are sweet, like those of Hilary Duff, Jessica Simpson and Tina Fey. Others are sour (Natalie Portman, Pink). But many were downright random.

Duchess Catherine craved vegetarian curry and lavender shortbread, which apparently helped her morning sickness – so she must have been eating a lot of it lately!

Jessica Alba was pregnant in Paris, but craved something deceptively simple: “Every day I have eaten ham and cheese sandwiches; I can’t get enough of them,” she wrote on MySpace. She also needed watermelon so badly, she told Jimmy Kimmel that she would kill for it.

Emma Bunton craved sushi. Maybe it was the not being allowed to have it that made her want it so badly.

Victoria Beckham’s fourth pregnancy brought on an unusual sweet-tooth desire for her: tea and toast with lashings of marmalade.

Alyssa Milano’s craving was particularly odd: broccoli.

Apparently Amy Adams’ cravings alerted her to being pregnant. Having never before tasted almond milk, she saw it in the fridge and downed the entire carton immediately.

Pink’s cravings were “Sour Patch Kids, or Sour Skittles, sour anything.”

Jennifer Connelly was constantly stuffing in her mouth pretzels dipped in cream cheese, she told Dave Letterman.
