She’s the goddess of style and Sarah Jessica Parker’s legacy has been passed on to her eldest child, James Wilkie Broderick.
The actress’ son celebrated his 13th birthday on October 28th, and his fashionista mum couldn’t be more proud of her boy.
Taking to Instagram, she first posted a retro snap of her and husband Matthew Broderick kissing as they held their newborn.
“A day I would happily relive. Over and over. Happy 13th birthday my favorite and beloved son,” she captioned the pic. “You bring us such enormous joy and we love you so. XXX, Mama and Papa.”
The mum-of-three doesn’t play favourites, loving James equally to her twins Marion and Tabitha but that didn’t stop her from excitedly sharing her delight over her eldest entering his teenage years.
Moments later she posted a new pic which showed her planting is kiss on her grown up son while he smiles from ear-to-ear.
“I might do this all day long. Cause I love himsez so. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JW! XXX, Mama,” she captioned the sweet image.
The Sex and the City actress is usually coy when it comes to her personal life, but she recently gave some insight to her family life during a chat with Harper’s Bazaar. Much like her famous on-screen persona, Carrie Bradshaw, SJP adores New York.
“I love the city. I love everything it has to offer. I think that my children are so lucky to be raised here,” she gushed. “I love the subway, I love hailing a cab, I love traffic and people and all of the possibilities. I believe in all of that still.”

Taking his family’s legacy in his stride, JW is all kinds of New York cool. Sarah couldn’t be happier to be raising her kids in the city that never sleeps, saying, “I think that my children are so lucky to be raised here!”

The family welcomed twin daughters, Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge, who were delivered via surrogate in June 2009.
