Bec Judd reveals details of her twin boys’ births

This is why we're such fans – she keeps us informed.

Everyone loves a birth story, particularly one involving multiples. So thank you, Bec Judd, for not leaving us wondering.

Like lots of her followers, we are constantly checking into her Instagram account to find out how she’s faring since delivering twin boys yesterday (Thursday, September 29). So here’s what she had to say – and she accompanied it with a gorgeous pic of her hubby Chris “Super Dad” Judd.

“Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes. Tom Andrew Judd and Darcy Hugh Judd arrived via emergency c-sec yesterday at 12:43pm and 12:44pm respectively at 35 weeks gestation. They are great sizes and came out perfectly healthy- phew! Thank you to the best Obstetrician in the world, Len Kliman, and @midwifecath for looking after me during this high risk pregnancy. We are all relieved to have them here healthy.”

Bec revealed in Pregnancy Life & Style magazine recently that she would be requiring a caesarean because she was having what’s called Mono Di twins, also called monochorionic twins. This means that while they have separate amniotic sacs they share a placenta and a natural birth is considered risky.

“I had a natural birth with both Billie (aged 2) and Oscar (aged 5) and thankfully there we no issues. At least now I can say I’ve experienced both!” she said.

In case you missed yesterday’s Judd family social media update, here are a couple more posts.
