An online maternity store has come under fire for selling a shirt for pregnant women that reads "Wake Me Up When I'm Skinny."

An online maternity store has come under fire for selling a shirt for pregnant women that reads “Wake Me Up When I’m Skinny.”

The retailer A Pea In The Pod sells the shirt to expecting mothers for $48. It also has another shirt with the words “I miss my waist”.

Jezebel highlights the problem with the shirt, saying: “Because pregnant women who have the audacity to put on weight while pregnant should just shutter themselves away and fall into long, deep slumbers like Sleeping Beauty so no one ever has to see them when they are not skinny. Oh joy joy.”
