A UK mother was ordered to stop breastfeeding at a public swimming pool and go into the change rooms.

Rebecca Hough, 23, told the Mirror she was “really embarrassed” when she was approached by the manager while feeding her 10-month-old baby, Max near the water at the Lux Park centre.

She said she was told to stop feeding her son and to continue in the change rooms because he could be sick in the pool.

“Max was a bit unsettled so I decided to give him a really quick feed,” she told the Mirror.

“I felt really embarrassed at being asked to leave when I wasn’t doing anything wrong.”
