Brooklyn’s starring role happened just 15 minutes before the end of the game with the oldest Beckham taking his father’s place on the field.

In a sweet touch, the pair were both wearing the number 7 jersey.

Ahead of the game, David shared a snap with his son and penned, “Look who came to have pre match meal with his dad …. One of my lasting memories was walking this little boy around Old Trafford age just 18 months…. Good to be home.”

Meanwhile proud mum Victoria, who was absent from the event, took to Instagram to congratulate the pair, “I love my boys. Incredible game today for a wonderful cause @unicef .What David has achieved makes me so proud.I love u X,” she wrote.

However it was all too much for little Harper, who was yawning on the sidelines.

The charity game marks the conclusion of David’s incredible seven games in seven continents mission, which saw the retired sports star works his way around the world playing soccer and raising money for UNICEF.
