On April 20th, former deputy PM Barnaby Joyce welcomed a son with his former-staffer and now partner, Vikki Campion.
It’s going to be hard to forget that the bub’s conception was one of the biggest political scandals in Australia.
Barnaby, at the time a married father-of-four, had an affair with his former-employee Vikki Campion and the information the pair were expecting a child emerged when Vikki was photographed out and about with her very obvious baby bump.
Despite admitting the identity of the baby’s biological father was “a grey area”, Mr Joyce will raise Vikki Campion’s son as his own.
Barnaby isn’t alone in his ‘love child’ scandal.
There are the multitude of ‘secret’ Royal love children and then there are some of the most infamous celebrity love children scandals in recent memory.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Joseph Baena
You can’t talk ‘love children’ without addressing the shocking discovery that Terminator actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger had fathered a son with his housekeeper, Mildred Baena.
At the time, Arnie had been married to Maria Shriver for 25 years and the pair had four children together.
Their marriage came to an end following the revelations of Arnie’s affair.
But even though he admitted that cheating on his wife was a big mistake, it didn’t stop him from being a good father to his ‘love child’ Joseph and the Schwarzeneggers have welcomed him into the family.

Eddie Murphy and Angel Brown
In 2007 funny man, Eddie Murphy fathered a love child with Melanie Brown AKA ‘Scary Spice’ back in 2007.
The Hollywood star, who now has a total of nine children, was still married to his (now former) wife of 12 years, Nicole Mitchell at the time.
Eddie originally denied paternity but a test later proved he was the father. The actor is reported to have little contact with daughter, Angel Brown.

Steve Jobs and Lisa Brennan-Jobs
Steve and Lisa look almost identical.
Steve refused to acknowledge his daughter, Lisa, as his own until a legal case was issued and a paternity test proved that he was the father.
Jobs later put an end to the worst kept secrets in the business world, that the Apple Lisa, an early model of Apple computer, was named for his daughter.
The pair eventually reconciled and Jobs paid for Lisa’s Harvard education. She’s now a successful writer.
“I didn’t live with him, but he would stop by our house some days, a deity among us for a few tingling moments or hours,” Lisa has said of her father’s presence in her childhood.
Clint Eastwood and his “undetermined number” of children
He is cited on Wikipedia as being the father of an undetermined number of children.
Actor Clint Eastwood was first married back in 1953 to Margaret Neville “Maggie” Johnson, and during this first marriage, he reportedly fathered an illegitimate child who (according to biographer Patrick McGilligan) was given up for adoption.
Then in 1964, still married to Maggie, Eastwood had a daughter with a dancer called named Roxanne Tunis who he declined to acknowledge until 1989.
In 1984, the Dirty Harry actor had a further two ‘love children’ with a stewardess, Jacelyn Reeves while still in a relationship with another woman. He didn’t acknowledge these children until
