Like many children around the world, Harper Seven Beckham is being home-schooled by her parents as a result of the coronavirus closing down schools.

But in her latest Instagram post, mum Victoria Beckham inadvertently revealed a hack that we reckon parents of all schoolchildren will give a try as we remain in lockdown.

Harper Seven is getting home-schooled like many other children.

In the photo uploaded by former Spice Girl Victoria, Harper is seen reading her book but rather than wearing comfy loungewear like many of us, the eight-year-old is wearing her purple and white school uniform.

“Afternoon reading with Olive xx Kisses from #HarperSeven. #HomeschoolDay,” the mum-of-four captioned her post.

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice Harper’s choice in outfit and whilst some were confused, others were appreciative.

“Cute that Harper’s in her school uniform,” one follower wrote whilst another commented: “The children in my class wear their school uniform while at home too.”

School uniforms are still a thing in the Beckham household.

Dressing your child in their school uniform can provide a sense of normalcy during these unprecedented times and certain Australian schools are encouraging their students to do so.

PLC Sydney has asked its students to wear their sports uniform explaining: “This helps them maintain their sense of belonging to the school community, even though they might be at home alone.”

Katharine Birbalsingh is the headmistress of Michaela Community School in London and her school is renowned for its students’ high academic results. She said that getting your child in their school uniform at the start of the day is a good motivation tool, especially if your child is more challenging.

“It will help them to identify with school expectations and rules. Supports the ‘mental switch’ that is required for successful home work,” she tweeted.

The Beckham family, minus eldest son Brooklyn, have been isolating at their home nestled in the English countryside in the Cotswolds.

Both David and Victoria celebrated their respective birthdays in isolation but have used their social media platofrms to encourage fans and followers to stay at home.

“#TeamVB is WFH,” Victoria revealed on her Instagram channel back in March. “And for those of us with kids we are also all working around a classroom schedule 🥴 Keep smiling! For as long as this is our new normal we will make it positive x (All technology accepted!!!!!)”
