Just one week after Woman’s Day revealed Nicole Kidman’s only son is set to wed without her by his side, the Aussie actress is facing fresh heartache after her daughter Bella Cruise has been revealed to be Scientology’s newest poster girl.

The 51-year-old star is believed to have had limited contact with Connor and Bella, her adopted children with Tom Cruise, because of Scientology.

Deemed a suppressive person by the church, it’s long thought Nicole may have been shunned from her children’s lives because of their faith. Now with Bella acting on the church’s behalf and more entrenched in the faith than ever before, Nicole’s nightmare has become a reality.

Bella appears in a Scientology ad, encouraging members in London to take part in an internship to become an auditor.

She shares her “success story”, admitting the experience of doing the course and climbing up the church ranks is difficult but necessary.

“I became that annoying girl in the org who would talk endlessly about how incredible training is and how phenomenal the internship is,” she says.

“We all need to do this. It’s hard work. It’s a lot of effort. It’s a few meltdowns and running to the bathroom to have a mini episode, but it’s worth everything because you’ll get through. This is a gift to yourself and so many others,” Bella continues.

“The internship, for me, is what made me a Scientologist… Thank you to my dad for everything.”

Bella also alluded to the fact she was largely unhappy until she found solace in her dad’s faith.

London life

Although 26-year-old Bella has been a Scientologist for years, no one knew just how seriously she was entrenched in the church – until now.

In fact, when she moved to London and married Max Parker in 2015, it was even rumoured she may have been distancing herself from her father’s controversial religion.

“The fact that Bella moved to London made people question whether she was even that involved with Scientology any more,” a well-placed source reveals. “This is proof she’s a lot more serious about it than most people realised.”

Arranged marriage?

Woman’s Day revealed last week that Connor, 24, is set to wed “Scientology Princess” Silvia Zanchi, a second-generation member who was hand-picked for him.

This news came after he recently moved into the exclusive Sandcastle retreat in Clearwater, Florida.

Now it seems Bella is also ready to take on a bigger role within the church.

“Now she can audit people, Bella is probably going to become a lot higher up in Scientology – just as Connor did,” another source explains.

“But it will be devastating for Nicole, who has always held onto the hope that some day, Bella and Connor could cut ties with the church.”

Still, Nicole, who shares two more daughters, Sunday and Faith, with Keith Urban, has previously insisted she loves her children no matter what.

“They are adults. They’re able to make their own decisions,” she has said. “They have made choices to be Scientologists and as a mother, it’s my job to love them.”
