The Pantsuit: Why celebrity mums are embracing the trend

The timeless style makes a powerful statement.

The women's pantsuit has long been a staple on both the streets and runways - a timeless trend that can adapt to the times.

Indeed, over the decades we've seen the style chop and change: The shoulder pads have shrunk and the leg widths have fluctuated from flared to cropped and skin-tight.

But the core of the style has always remained true to it's purpose - when you put on a pantsuit, you can take on the world.

Recently, we've seen a resurgence in the pantsuit trend, with celebs donning the style for red carpet premieres, awards ceremonies, galas and more.

Something many of these women have in common? They're mums. And they all look incredible.

There's something in this: The style is comfortable, yet chic. Better yet, it allows you to move around freely, unlike fitted skirts and gowns.

These attractive feats would no doubt appeal to mums, who do enough running around for five people.

The style itself is also flattering - tuxedo-style jackets can be worn oversized or shaped at the waist, accentuating the feminine figure.

It's a yes from us. And to prove just how great this style is, we've rounded up some of the best celebrity mums who are nailing the trend.
