Kim Kardashian and husband, Kanye West sure do make cute babies.

Now it seems the genetically blessed pair have one more shot at it, with an insider revealing to US Weekly that there’s another embryo waiting for ‘Kimye’ when they’re ready … and that could be very soon.

Just 11 months after welcoming daughter Chicago, reports are rife that the couple are planning to have a fourth child, with multiple sources reporting that it might be sooner rather than later as their surrogate is already pregnant and due in May.

“[They] have one last embryo left,” one insider says, and it’s a boy.

While Kim was able to carry the pair’s first two children, daughter North, five, and son Saint, two, the pregnancies were considered high risk due to pre-eclampsia, and placenta accreta. As a result it was deemed unsafe for her to consider falling pregnant again.

That didn’t mean their parenting journey was over. With the help of a gestational carrier or ‘surrogate’ ‘Kimye’ were able to bring baby Chicago into the world.

“Doctors said that it wasn’t safe for my — or the baby’s — health to carry on my own,” the Keeping up with the Kardashians star, wrote on her website in January, following Chicago’s birth.

“After exploring many options, Kanye and I decided to use a gestational carrier. Although I have used the term surrogate in the past, a gestational carrier is actually the technical term for a woman who carries a baby that she has no biological relationship to. A traditional surrogate donates her egg, is artificially inseminated with the father’s sperm and then carries the baby to term. Since we implanted my fertilized egg in our gestational carrier, our baby is biologically mine and Kanye’s.”

“Anyone that says or thinks it is just the easy way out is just completely wrong,” the social media mogul told Entertainment Tonight.

“I think it is so much harder to go through it this way because you are not really in control. And, you know, obviously, you pick someone that you completely trust and that you have a good bond and relationship with, but it is still… knowing that I was able to carry my first two babies and not, you know, my baby now, it’s hard for me. It’s definitely a harder experience than I anticipated just in the control area.”

With one embryo left, and Kim’s ongoing health concerns, it is likely the couple will use a gestational carrier again. Having lost an embryo once before, Kim and Kanye will once again have a nervous wait ahead of them … just like last time.

“Before Kimberly got pregnant with Saint she had an embryo implanted in her and that embryo did not take,” Khloé Kardashian revealed while her sister was expecting Chicago. “So Kim is super nervous and anxious during this waiting period.”

“That inner struggle is kind of hard, but I am just rolling with it,” Kim told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “And it is what it is . . . I think it is definitely a different experience and I am blessed that I am able to this, and technology is the way that it is that we can do this. But it is still a process that you need to digest.”
