Every parent will know a first birthday is a big deal.
While the birthday girl or boy won’t remember a thing when they’re all grown up, for parents it’s a milestone they’ll capture from every angle making cherished memories they’ll keep forever.
So, when Karl and Jasmine Stefanovic’s daughter, Harper, hit said milestone over the weekend, you can bet they celebrated big.
Being the couple’s first child together, made the event all the more special.
Harper was spoilt on her special day.
(Instagram)Jasmine shared a number of photos of Harper’s festivities which showed the one-year-old surrounded by family, food and lots of presents.
One of the most impressive gifts included a baby pink ride-on electric car, which Harper clearly looked to be thrilled by.

“One year ago today you came into our world and filled our hearts with so much love. You are the most precious soul who we love beyond words,” Jasmine wrote.
“Thank you for making my world Harper May! You have completely filled Mummy’s heart 💗.”
Harper’s aunt and Channel Nine star Sylvia Jeffreys also posted a gorgeous shot with the toddler, writing: “ONE 🎂 Happy birthday you gorgeous angel princess, Harper May. We love you and your lovely Mummy and Daddy @jasyarby @karlstefanovic_.”

“Harper and Jasmine are doing well and dad had a great night’s sleep. I am in awe. Harper is absolutely perfect,” Karl said in a statement announcing the happy news.
While it was Jasmine’s first child, Karl already shares three kids – Jackson, River and Ava – with ex-wife Cass Thorburn.
Jas and Karl have been smitten since Harper’s arrival.
(Instagram)Just weeks before Jasmine gave birth, the popular Channel Nine personality explained his new daughter would be an expression of the love he has for his wife.
“We [he and Jasmine] do have a very loving relationship and to have a baby as an expression of that love is incredible. It’s never an easy thing and I think that kids are a miracle and we just can’t wait to meet this little girl. Just to shower her with all the love that we have.”
